The People

Jerome Bretaudeau is a free radical. In a region of light white wines he makes Merlot finer than you'll ever taste, a Pinot Noir that can taste like a Chamolle Musigny or top notch Vosne Romanée. He pioneered amphores long before it became a trend and played with Savagnin and Sauvignon Gris so he can be free to make his own creations.

Philosophy and style

The style of Belle Vue is pure and pristine. nothing lingers for no reason, from his exemplary Muscadet on Gabbro and Granit to the legendary Gaia. Amphores, old barrels, strict discipline all for one goal to make the purest expression of this Atlantic terroir.
